when designing this book, our collective objective was to not simply publish a how-to book on pattern design for the industry, but to publish a book that could live on a coffee table of the everyday consumer and still be relevant, beautiful and inspiring. my role was to organize content, develop a cohesive layout for the front- and back-matter, main text and design the cover using khristian’s existing artwork. to launch, we also filmed and produced a trailer for the book release and facilitated a giveaway with book contributors to generate buzz surrounding the launch. named an amazon best book of the month, july 2015.
